General Information

The Annual Conference on Scientific Writing (ACSCiting) is an annual scientific writing competition and academic conference for university students organized by Universitas Pertiba in collaboration with Yayasan Meira Visi Persada. Now entering its third year in 2026, ACSCiting continues to serve as a platform for young scholars to present innovative, research-based solutions to global challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration.

ACSCiting welcomes students from diverse academic backgrounds, including:

Official Theme: “Multidisciplinary Approach for Social Innovation, Equity, and Digital Society”

ACSCiting 2026 adopts the theme “Multidisciplinary Approach for Social Innovation, Equity, and Digital Society”, reflecting a critical and timely response to the accelerating transformation toward a digitally interconnected global society.

The advancement of digital technologies has redefined economic structures, governance systems, educational models, and social interaction. While digital transformation offers unprecedented opportunities for innovation and development, it simultaneously presents complex challenges, including structural inequalities, disparities in digital access, ethical dilemmas in artificial intelligence and data governance, and widening socio-economic gaps.

In this context, the competition calls for rigorous scholarly contributions grounded in a multidisciplinary framework that integrates perspectives from social sciences, law, economics, education, and technological studies. Such integration is essential to ensuring that digital progress does not exacerbate inequality, but rather advances justice, inclusivity, and sustainable development.

Participants are invited to submit research papers that critically examine and construct innovative approaches aimed at:

• Advancing equitable access to digital infrastructure and services
• Strengthening inclusive policy and regulatory frameworks
• Promoting ethical and responsible technological innovation
• Addressing socio-economic disparities intensified by digital transformation
• Empowering communities through sustainable digital engagement

Submissions are expected to move beyond descriptive analysis by offering evidence-based insights, conceptual advancements, policy recommendations, or technological frameworks that demonstrate scalability, societal impact, and long-term sustainability.

 The 3rd ACSCiting aspires to cultivate a scholarly platform where emerging researchers contribute meaningfully to the development of a digital society that is not only technologically advanced, but also socially just, ethically grounded, and inclusively governed.

General Requirements

a. Participant Requirements:

1. Active undergraduate university students (proven with a valid Student ID Card).
2. Participants from Universitas Pertiba as the host institution.
3. Participants from partner universities acting as co-hosts.
4. Participants from other Indonesian universities.
5. Participants from international universities.

b. General Requirements:

1. Each team consists of up to 5 (five) members.
2. Each team may submit only one article.
3. Universities/colleges may submit more than one team/ article.

c. Article Guidelines:

1. The article must be an original work by the team and not plagiarized (similarity max 20%).
2. The article must not be influenced by emotions or subjective issues.
3. The article must not contain elements of ethnicity, religion, race, or intergroup issues (SARA).
4. The article must be supported by accurate and accountable data and information.
5. The article must not have been submitted to any other competition or published in any medium.
